Sony Professional Media is excited to announce our Mobile Storage Unit, model PXU-MS240 that expands our current offering of tape less products. This innovative device provides EX camcorder users with portable, self-contained, high-speed, temporary mass storage that allows virtually unlimited back-up of SxS PRO™ Memory Card content and improved workflow. This affordable storage solution is made possible by using the removable PXU-HC240Hard Drive Cartridges (purchased separately). Some new key features include:
One-Touch backup of SxS Memory Cards (Verification also available)
Fast Transfer of Video Content from SxS Memory Cards (up to 10X Real Time)
Removable 240GB Hard Drive Cartridges (PXUHC240)
A PXU-HC240 can hold up to 13hrs (HQ mode) or 17hrs (SP mode) of video content.
With the available e-SATA connection users can quickly offload content from the Mobile Storage Unit into their NLE or edit directly from the unit.
