APM STEADY RIG Shoulder Support Brace

The APM Steady Rig is designed for smooth and professional videos. You can now hold your camcorder steady with less fatigue and enjoy the mobility it was desgned for when shooting on the shoulder. The shoulder support is gender neutral; ideal for both male and female videographers.  The shoulder support is designed to hold small handheld 3CCD cameras such as Sony DCR-VX2000, DCR-VX2100, DSR-PD150, DSR-PD170, HDR-FX1, HVR-Z1, Panasonic AG-DVX100, AG-DVX100A, AG-DVC80.

The APM Steady Rig is equipped with a unique padded arch that hugs the shoulder to provide a secure shooting platform. A side handle ensures the shooter will have full control of the cameras movement (Figure 1).  A belt is provided with a quick release belt holster to distribute the weight of the camera to the shooter's waist giving a rock steady shot (Figure 3 & 4). For high or overhead shots the support has a built-in adjustable extension rod. This also will allow proper comfort for all shooters of different height (Figure 2).  The Steady Rig is equipped with a quick release coupling ring so the support can be used with or without the extension rod and waist support (Figure 1 & 5).
